Background: I have been a professional musician since 1975! After law school, I raised my two daughters until they left for college. In 2008, I got my credential and began teaching at DVHS. I’ve been a church musician and a music teacher. 


Teaching/Educational Philosophy: Teaching is an incredibly complex intellectual task. I try to create lessons I would find interesting and that kids will find pertain to their lives and issues. Because I teach government, there are fascinating things to talk about every day!


Personal Notes: I have 2 daughters and 1 dog. My hobbies are reading, walking, and watching true crime on TV.  My dream is to start a dog, cat and donkey rescue when I retire from teaching!
