Dear DVHS Families,
.
Our seniors are beginning to hear from the colleges where they have applied, and will have some important decisions to make over the coming month. They will have until May 1 to accept their offer of admission to one of the 4-year universities/colleges where they have been admitted (and decline the rest). Some seniors will decide to pursue other post high school options including community college, military service, employment, and/or travel, and I look forward to hearing about the choices they are making. Please encourage your senior to come to the Career Center and complete a blue form with this information, so we can add them to our Senior Map!
.
Juniors-Freshmen could consider touring college campuses during spring break and/or attending college fairs. There will be a large college fair at St. Mary’s College in Moraga on Saturday, April 14 and another in San Francisco on April 21. Details are included in this newsletter. If planning to take tours over spring break, pre-booking is recommended to ensure space. Some tours fill up!! See a campus’s website for touring information. Be sure to attend the Admissions counselor information session if you can, as they are usually led by an Admissions Counselor and provide valuable information regarding the admissions process.
