The Dougherty Valley High School counselors provide academic and social support services to the student body and strive to assist students in achieving success in all aspects of their lives.  Counselors assist with the course selection process, academic planning, college & career planning as well as helping students to interpret test scores. Counselors also assist students with difficulties that interfere with learning and aid in the process of students transitioning from middle to high school and then to college.  They are also available to support students with any personal and social challenges they may be facing.  Students are assigned to counselors based on the first letter of their last names.
