Senior Scholarship Applications

PTSA Senior Scholarship Awards - Due April 9

PTSA Senior Scholarship Awards

Each year, the Dougherty Valley High School PTSA, through membership and funds raised, is proud to have the opportunity to recognize DVHS college or trade school bound students from the graduating class who have demonstrated leadership in the community.


The following scholarships will be awarded:


  • One $1500 scholarship

  • Two $1000 scholarships

  • Three $500 scholarships

Completed applications are due in April 9, 2018.



  • Minimum 3.0 unweighted high school GPA;

  • Student must be a PTSA member*;

  • 200-word leadership essay (see application for prompt);

  • A letter of reference from someone familiar with you and your leadership spirit;

  • Completed Application Form; and

  • Most Recent Transcript.

membership fee and filled PTSA membership form to application packet. Payment in cash or check payable to DVHS PTSA. Or, you may use the DVHS Webstore to become a member (print receipt and attach to application).
