BACKGROUND:
I was raised in CA, graduated from Berkeley, and stayed in the SF Bay Area for several years teaching English, social studies and humanities and counseling middle school students. I also taught in New Jersey and New York City. I worked as a consultant for gifted and talented services in Michigan prior to receiving my Masters in Library Science and serving as the Library Information Specialist in a high school near Ann Arbor MI. My two sons live in Colorado. One is a builder in the Aspen area. The other, an Outward Bound instructor, is a substitute teacher in Denver working on his teaching credential.

PERSONAL NOTES:
It’s with great joy that I move back to San Ramon and accept the responsibility of DVHS’s lovely new library. I’ll feel successful when students, staff and community members frequent the library regularly and often call for help.
