BACKGROUND: I was born and raised in San Diego, but moved to northern California after high school to attend Sonoma State University. During my time at Sonoma State I earned both my Bachelor of Arts degree in English and my Single Subject Credential in English. Since then, I have taught 9th, 10th and 11th grade English at Petaluma High School and San Ramon Valley High School.
TEACHING
PHILOSOPHY: I believe teaching is an opportunity to motivate, engage and empower students; it is an opportunity to promote self-discovery in one’s interests.
