SRVUSD Annual Update

San Ramon Valley Unified parents are asked to complete an online “Annual Update” to verify household and emergency contact information and complete the annual release acknowledgement and permission requirements.

The Annual Update window for the 2018-19 school year is scheduled to open on July 10 for DVHS. Complete the district online Annual Update using your Parent Portal in Infinite Campus. To begin the process, click on the Annual Update link located in the bottom left corner of your Welcome page titled “Online Enrollment Annual Update”. 

Only one Annual Update is required for each family at a primary address. The message will continue to appear in your inbox until the end of the Annual Update period. Please disregard the message once you have completed your Annual Update. You will receive a confirmation email following completion of the Annual Update process.

Volunteers

Visit the Volunteer Management System to update your information or to register to volunteer if you have not done so previously.

Step 1: Annual Update - Parent Portal Information

  • If your child is currently enrolled in an SRVUSD school, you must complete the Annual Update to verify household and emergency contact information and complete the annual release acknowledgement and permission requirements.

    • Parents can access this information by logging into your Infinite Campus Parent Portal account (Parent Portal Direct Link).

    • The Annual Update window for the DVHS 2018-19 school year is scheduled to open on July 10, 2018.

    • Check your Portal "InBox" for a message titled "Annual Update Fall Registration." This message will guide you through the Annual Update process.

    • Only one Annual Update is required required for each family at a primary address.

    • The message will continue to appear in your inbox until the end of the Annual Update period.

    • Please disregard the message once you have completed your Annual Update.

    • You will receive a confirming email following completion of the Annual Update process. 

    • This must be completed prior to Wildcat Days, our on-site registration. Please see below the schedule for Wildcat Days.

    • Proceed to Step 2.

  • If you are new to the district and have not enrolled your student electronically, go to SRVUSD webpage and click on the "Enroll Your Child" Quick Link on the left side of the homepage.

    • Once you have enrolled electronically, call DVHS Registrar Nancy Ainsworth at 925-479-6422 to set up an appointment. She will be available beginning July 30.

    • NOTE: Between June 18 and July 19 (closed on July 4), your appointment will be made at the Summer Enrollment Center at John Baldwin Elementary School, 741 Brookside Drive, Danville.

    • Be sure to bring all required paperwork to your appointment. Detailed instructions can be found on our website, www.srvusd.net, "Enroll Your Child".


Step 2: Complete DVHS Online Registration

Wildcat Days is an opportunity to SAVE MONEY by purchasing the ASB Package for your student for just $210.  This package includes the yearbook ($125 value), an ASB t-shirt ($10 value), a Homecoming t-shirt ($10 value), free admission to all home athletic EBAL games (up to $75 value), $10 discount on all dances and some events, and discounts on Prideline spirit wear.  This is a limited time offer so don’t miss out!

  • Here's how it works:

    • Access the DVHS Webstore, choose "browse" from the toolbar, and scroll down to "Wildcat Days registration" to choose any items (ASB package, PE uniform, etc.) you need for the start of school.

    • Make all your donations in the same shopping cart. Options include:

      • ​Education Fund - supports class size reduction, all classroom supplies, and future large capital purchases.

      • Athletic Boosters - supporting sports and our student athletes.

      • Music Boosters Fund - supporting our band, choral, and orchestra programs

      • PTSA Memberships - joining the group who coordinates their efforts with staff and students to support the school.

    • Donations are also welcome.

      • Library Donations - supporting additional volumes in our library.

      • Technology Donations - supporting student technology (i.e. computer labs, Naviance, etc.).

    • IMPORTANT:  Print your receipt and bring it with you to Wildcat Days.

*The registration website is not sponsored by the school. Information provided on this website may be available to Parent Teacher Associations and other educational benefit foundations as well as school personnel as required.


Wildcat Days Registration

Registration Dates: August 6 - 9, 2018 -- see details below.

Step 3: On-Site Registration Days - Wildcat Days

  • Parent/legal guardian may accompany their child(ren)

  • Students will:

    • ​Have Yearbook pictures taken (remember to bring your photography receipt from step #2)

    • Be issued ID cards

    • Select their locker (first come, first served) on grade-specific days only.

    • Sharing lockers is highly recommended.

    • Pick up selected textbooks.

  • Returning 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students should bring their padlock from last year to Wildcat Days.

Registration/new student orientation schedule:

  • Monday 8/6 - 12th grade only (if necessary, siblings may come but they won't be able to choose a locker.)

  • Tuesday 8/7 - 11th grade only (if necessary, siblings may come but they won't be able to choose a locker.)

  • Wednesday 8/8 -10th grade only (if necessary, siblings may come but they won't be able to choose a locker.)

  • Thursday 8/9 - orientation for freshmen and other students who are new to DVHS is 10 a.m. - 12 noon in the large gym.  Registration is 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.  All new students will be given a locker padlock that they will keep for their DVHS years.

Welcome Back Dance (grades 9-12) -Thursday, August 9, 6:30-9:30 p.m., in the Quad

The dance is open to all 2018-2019 DVHS students (no guests). Admission is free and dress code policy applies.

9th Grade / New Student Orientation/School Dance

Thursday, 8/9/18

  • Freshman and new student orientation:  10:00 a.m. - 12 noon
  • Main Gym

The Leadership Class will introduce new students to DVHS and will distribute class schedules.

9th grade and new students will also complete Wildcat Days Registration from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. which includes getting pictures taken, ID cards and locker distribution. If you cannot attend, 9th grade and new students should come on 8/13/18 after school to the Commons.

The Back to School Dance is Thursday, August 9 from 6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. in the Quad.

***Please note - We do not have school supply lists but each teacher will let the student know what is needed for their classes.

First Week of School Schedules

Monday 8/13/18 - Minimum Day Schedule

  • "A" period begins 7:30 a.m.
  • 1st period begins 8:10 a.m.
  • Dismissal at 12:20 p.m.

Tuesday 8/14/18 - regular schedule

  • "A" period begins 7:31 a.m.
  • 1st period begins 8:30 a.m.
  • Dismissal 3:06 p.m.

Wednesday 8/15/18 - block schedule (periods 1, 2, 3)

  • 1st period begins 9:03 a.m.
  • Dismissal 3:02 p.m.

Thursday 8/16/18 - block schedule (periods A, 4, 5, 6)

  • A period begins 7:30 a.m.
  • 4th period begins 9:03 a.m.
  • Dismissal at 3:02 p.m.

Friday 8/17/18 - Back to School rally schedule (all periods meet)

  • A period begins 7:31 a.m.
  • 1st period begins 8:30 a.m.
  • Dismissal 3:06 p.m.
