All Winter sport Athletic Physical Education contract are due to Mrs. Miller by the end of the day Friday November 20th. Please stop by Mrs. Millers office in the administration building to drop off your contract and pick up your time card for the winter sports season.

Fall sport athletes wishing to apply for Athletic Physical Education credit must attend one of two mandatory meetings.
Wednesday Aug. 26th immediately after school in the Aux gym or
Thursday Aug. 27th during the first 15 minutes of lunch in the Aux gym
If you do not attend one of these meeting you will not be able to apply for credit. Just being on a fall athletic team does not get you credit towards your physical education requirements. You must apply and successfully complete the APE program. APE is offered for Fall, Winter and Spring sports season.

High school athletics in the San Ramon Valley Unified School district cannot function without your support. High schools do not receive district (tax dollar) funds for equipment, uniforms, transportation, and most coaching stipends. As such, participation donations are solicited to fund these valuable programs. Without your generous donations, sports at Dougherty Valley High School cannot be offered. High school sports cost much less than outside club sports and we appreciate your help in keeping our Wildcat teams afloat.
Participation Donations (defined)
Donations are used to cover the major operating costs of our athletic budget including officials, equipment, possible athletic trainers, supervision/security, facilities, first aid supplies, CIF dues, NCS dues & league fees and more. The suggested donation will be detailed in a specific sport budget presented to parents at an orientation meeting after teams have been finalized. Your athletic donation is tax deductible and goes directly to the sport your child is participating in, and is a direct benefit to your child
Although the athletic programs can only survive through parent donations, an individual’s participation on a team is not dependent on financial donations. We encourage all interested students to try out for athletic teams.
Donations can be made online via the DVHS web store by going to www.dvhigh.net and linking to the ‘webstore’. You may also donate by bringing a check to the bookkeeper in the administration building. Payment options are available, please see Peggy Thomas our book keeper for more information.
