The Dougherty Valley High School Athletic Boosters strives to support our extra-curricular student-centered learning community and mindset through building traditions in athletic excellence; connecting and collaborating with our educators, families, alumni, and community; promoting the positive image and success of our student athletes; and generating revenue in support of our athletic programs.

 

 

Welcome to the new school year!  The DVHS Athletic Boosters is a charitable, non-profit organization that believes in promoting an athletics based, schoolwide community, focused on developing the whole child by supporting student-athletes.  Our purpose is to work with the school administration as it relates to athletic programs, encourage enthusiastic support of Dougherty Valley High School athletics, and to contribute to the advancement and needs of athletic programs at the high school.  

 

Sports at DVHS would not exist without the dedication of coaches, team parents, volunteers and your financial contributions.  As a DVHS Athletic Booster member, you are having a direct impact on your student's athletic experience. Athletic Boosters allow you to be part of supporting our teams in their quest for NCS championships by providing necessary funds for such items as equipment, uniforms and all of the items needed for our teams to be successful.  Last year alone, your membership dollars had a profound impact on the DVHS Athletic Program. Boosters purchased necessary equipment for sports programs, funded our athletic trainer and coaches grants, funded our annual senior scholarships and much, much more. In addition, as a member, your student becomes eligible for one of our Boosters scholarships handed out to seniors at the end of each school year.  Furthermore, by purchasing a DVHS Athletic Booster Membership, you save on entrance fees to non-NCS home football and basketball games.  

 

Many companies offer gift matching programs as an extension of their corporate philanthropy.  These programs are designed to be the means by which companies support employee charitable giving.  Contact your Human Resource department to find out if your company offers a matching program and double the donation to DVHS Athletic Boosters!
